| The Mets are up 8 - 7 in the bottom of the 9th. Jeter is on second and Teixeira is on first and A-Rod is up to bat with 2 outs. He pops up to second baseman Luis Castillo who ends up dropping the ball and both Jeter and Teixeira score on the error and the Yankees win the game 9 - 8! Wow what a finish, I have NEVER seen an ending like that before. You always pray and pray when it comes down to the end of the game and its a pop up and you pray the player drops the ball and it never happens. Not this time!
